I received a traffic or ordinance citation in Cedarburg, now what can I do?

If you are pleading "guilty" or "no contest" and do not wish to appear in court, mail a copy of your citation (ticket) with your payment to the Mid-Moraine Municipal Court, 962 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, WI 53095. You may also pay in person at the Mid-Moraine Municipal Court office located in West Bend, WI. Payment must be received five (5) days prior to your scheduled court appearance. Credit card payments can be paid through Mid-Moraine Municipal Court's credit card processor; please visit Mid-Moraine Municipal Court's payment page for the most current information:  http://mmmcourt.com/credit-card-payments/

If you are pleading "not guilty" to the charge on the citation, complete the "Not Guilty Plea" form on the pamphlet you received with your citation and mail it to the Mid-Moraine Municipal Court or fax it at (262) 334-7771. It must be received by the court no later than five (5) days before the scheduled court appearance date. You will be notified by mail of a pre-trial conference date and court trial dates.

You may come to court on the scheduled date and enter your plea in person. If your plea is "not guilty", you will be given written notice of the pre-trial conference date and court trial date. If you choose to enter a "guilty" or "no contest" plea at that time, you will be sentenced and ordered to pay the fine.

Failure to appear in court on the scheduled date (unless you have previously entered a "not guilty" plea in writing) will result in a conviction and a fine. Further, if the ticket indicated mandatory appearance, your driving privileges may also be suspended or revoked.

** This information does not apply if your ticket states "to be set".
