EPA will be holding a public meeting on the proposed Amcast Site Cleanup Plan on May 31 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm in the Community Gym located at W63N643 Washington Ave, Cedarburg, WI 53012.  
A virtual option will also be provided closer to the date. 

Summary
EPA, working with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) has proposed a plan to clean up the Amcast Industrial Corp. Superfund Site in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. The site is located at N39 W5789 Hamilton Road in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. The site consists of the Amcast facility (north and south properties), sewers near and beneath the former plant areas, a stormwater retention pond southeast of Amcast (Wilshire Pond), the quarry pond in nearby Zeunert Park, and some private properties to the southeast.

NOTICE:  It is possible that members of, and a possible quorum of members of the Common Council and/or any other Board/Commission/Committee members of the City of Cedarburg may be in attendance for the EPA Public Meeting regarding the Amcast site on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Cedarburg Community Gym, W63 N641 Washington Avenue, Cedarburg, WI. No business will be conducted by the Common Council or by any Board/Commission/Committee. No action will be taken.  Attendance is for the purpose of information gathering and exchange.
